Henry

Henry O'tawiah is a highly skilled and versatile street dance artist and choreographer from the Netherlands. His passion for dance started at a young age, and over the years, he has explored and mastered various styles. Early in his career, he was mentored by Jeffrey Roberts, a key figure in the Dutch Hip-Hop scene, which helped shape his approach to movement and creativity.

His professional journey began with theater company ISH, where he developed his skills in both theater and commercial productions. He has since collaborated with companies like Cirque du Soleil and the Dutch National Ballet and has worked as a dancer and choreographer for artists such as Rita Ora, Mariah Carey, and Kylie Minogue. He has also contributed to TV productions like Idols and X Factor and was selected for the Adidas World Team in 2015.

Despite his experience in mainstream projects, Henry remains deeply connected to the underground dance scene. In 2010/11, he won Juste Debout Netherlands and represented the country in Paris. Currently, he is focused on theater-making, choreography, and contributing to the artistic vision of Solid Ground Movement, supporting the next generation of dancers.
