Solid Ground Movement has been shaping the hiphop dance scene for over 20 years. Since day one, we've been dedicated to the development and exchange of knowledge between hiphop dancers. Pushing the boundaries of what the culture can be. What sets us apart? We were among the first to bring hiphop dance into the theatre, giving it the artistic platform it deserves.

Solid Pro is the talent development program of Solid Ground Movement for dancers who are serious about growing. During an intensive period you will work on technique, performance, musicality, stage presence and collaboration.
You will receive coaching from different choreographers and creators from the professional field and be challenged to get the best out of yourself.
This program offers growth, focus and stage experience in an environment where you are seen and pushed to improve.

We believe in talent at every level. Through grassroots classes, peer-to-peer training and artistic research, Solid Ground has discovered and developed new dancers across Amsterdam, as well as (semi-)professional dancers from all over the Netherlands.
Our programmes are open to dancers aged 9 to 25 and focus on hiphop and theatre. Participants work in an inspiring environment alongside professional teachers, building towards a full theatre production while gaining experience in both the commercial and battle scenes. Previous editions have seen participants perform for brands like Nike and Adidas, appear in TV commercials and collaborate on various theatre productions.
